A non-profit’s programs are what the community sees and, hopefully, utilizes and enjoys. They are the public face of activity and critical to public perception and then to public support. Geoff has a long record of creating imaginative programming that focuses the public on the organization’s mission, attracts new audiences and retains existing ones. Some, but not all of these programs, were intended to produce earned revenue. Program development is the process of creating a program profile that is sustainable by staff and volunteers, within budget and reasonably assured of public acceptance. Developing this profile is helped greatly by being attuned to audience interests and needs through surveys and other communications. Education - for all ages- should always be an important facet of program development.
